In the first new solo-effort since her 2015 debut, former Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian has shared news of a forthcoming mini-album with her spacious new single 'Mountainside'. Stripping back the intricate layers of warped psychedelia that we experienced on The Expanding Flower Planet, 'Mountainside' is a sparse yet beautiful composition of 3 core elements: piano, flute and vocals. The mini-album titled Eternal Recurrence has been a few years in the making, consisting of initial recordings from 2015, which were finished off in 2016 alongside producer Ben Greenburg. Eternal Recurrence will come out on the 6th of October on Anticon Records. -HLMX
